Giggling Uvula
Looking up and seeing this sandstone formation above me made me think of what it would be like being in the belly of a stone giant. The ribs in the sandstone are the ribs in his throat and you see the ‘punching bag’ shaped Uvula at the top of his throat and the bright light coming in through his open mouth as he laughed while enjoying the tasty meal he just ate. Sure, I have a vivid imagination, but try and look at this image now and not see the same thing I felt while standing there in the slot canyon.
