The Sands of Time
In the dark and narrow slot canyon, a long exposure was needed to capture enough light and the sand cascading off the ledge. The deep depth of field shows off all the features of this twisting turn in the canyon. The bright light filtering down from above lends to the waterfall effect started by the striped deposits shown coming down the wall and completed by the cascading sand to the canyon floor.
