Winters Fury
During the coldest of winter, ice will form on a flowing river. I had my camera along on one of these very cold days and was trying to get a good position to photograph some small birds in shrubbery when I noticed this ice formation along the banks of the Platte River. I loved the complex nature of ice ridges formed by the moving water and when I went to edit the image it ended up looing to me like an abstract oil painting.
